"Bowser Junior Gets Rabies!" stylized as BOWSER JUNIOR GETS RABIES! on the thumbnail) is the 200th episode of SML Movies.

Synopsis[]

Bowser Junior gets bitten by a squirrel with rabies.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Junior coloring a picture about North America bombing ISIS. He then hears a knock at the door. It's (of course) Joseph and Cody. Joseph shows off his new ball and exaggerates by saying it can "bounce to the Moon". Cody says it can't, but his friends say it can. Junior goes to tell his Dad about this.

Bowser is then seen in his bedroom, watching the news on TV. The weather channel says it's going to rain. Junior comes into the scene and asks his Dad if he can go outside. Bowser says no because rain is coming. Junior keeps begging, but Bowser's answer doesn't change. Bowser then says that if Junior goes outside, he'll wash his mouth out with soap. Junior then believes that his Dad has got his punishments mixed up.

Junior goes to tell his friends that it's about to rain and his Dad will wash his mouth with soap if he goes outside. The trio decides to sneak outside anyway for just 5 minutes and prove Cody wrong about the ball not bouncing to the Moon. Joseph bounce the ball again, and lands on the other side of the playground fence. Junior forces Cody to try and go get it. Just then, a squirrel appears. Junior makes a bad choice (as usual) to pet the squirrel. Cody warns Junior to leave it alone since it might have rabies. Junior says that he doesn't care if it has "babies" and that Cody isn't population control. As Junior tries to pet the squirrel, it bites him on the arm, and the trio immediately run back to the house without retrieving the ball.

Joseph and Cody are worried when they see a huge red blister on Junior's arm. Cody realizes Junior is most likely about to have rabies, which causes Junior to falsely realize that he's pregnant about to become a father. He starts crying about this until Cody corrects him and says "No, Junior! Rabies!" Of course, Junior doesn't know what rabies is, so he asks Cody what rabies are. Cody looks it up on the internet, and it says that if someone gets rabies, they start feeling weird, go insane, and then eventually they die. Junior thinks that a band-aid would help him get better, but Cody warns him that it won't work, as Band-Aids cannot cure diseases. Junior ignores Cody and straps a Band-Aid onto his bitten arm anyway.

Cody keeps warning Junior that he's going to die if he doesn't get his disease taken care of, but Junior keeps attempting to prove him wrong. Cody then makes up an example that if people need open heart surgery, you'd just slap a Band-Aid on their chest, and they'd be perfectly fine. Having enough of worrying about the situation, Junior and his friends begin to think about a game to play. As they think, the scene gets very quiet. While his friends are thinking, Junior starts to hallucinate, say stuff that's not true, and goes crazy. He starts banging his head on the table and recites quotes from movies, which scares his friends. Once Junior seemingly calms down, he shows his friends the picture he was coloring earlier. Cody and Joseph are impressed as Junior says he drew it for a Nickelodeon contest. The trio then decides to play with trains.

Once Joseph and Cody get ready by grabbing the trains they want to play with, Junior is missing. They start wondering where he is. Just then, Junior appears out of nowhere, foaming out of the mouth like a rabid creature. Cody and Joseph are really concerned at this point. They tell Junior to calm down and simply grab a train. Instead, Junior knocks the trains all over the place and starts hissing at them. Without hesitating, Cody and Joseph immediately escape.

In the kitchen, Chef Pee Pee plans to eat tortillas for a snack. Foamy-mouthed Junior then comes in. At first, Chef Pee Pee thinks he's playing a joke, but he then freaks out once he realizes that Junior is rabid, so he calls the police. Until the police arrive, Chef Pee Pee makes a trap by putting Golden Thomas under a box hung up in the air by a stick attached to a rope. The trap works! When the police arrive, the officer tells Chef Pee Pee to shove a pill down Junior's throat. Doing so, Junior then bites Chef Pee Pee on the hand. The police say it's fine and that it was worth it.

The next day, Junior tells his friends that he's all better now. Joseph and Cody are wondering why Chef Pee Pee is now foaming at his mouth. Junior claims that it's nothing and that Chef Pee Pee is just having babies. Junior and his friends then decide to poke him with a stick, ending the episode.

Trivia[]

  • This is the 200th episode of SML Movies.
  • This even further shows Bowser Junior is patriotic, as he draws a picture of America bombing ISIS. It is likely because of the events of the November 2015 Paris Attacks.
  • Logan uses a deformed Bowser Junior puppet in this video he was originally going to use in more videos. when Logan was trying to make Bowser Junior into a puppet, this backfired as Logan found the puppet to be scary. It was first featured in Logan's "Mario Plush Collection!" video.
  • This is one of the rare videos where Chef Pee Pee shows love for Junior, as he tries to cure him of his rabies.
  • This is among the darker episodes, especially in the second half as Junior's experience with rabies is played realistically, involving the infected squirrel that bites him possessing tusks, Junior coming down with the disease starting with disturbing hallucinations and dementedly beating his head against the tabletop accompanied by eerie music, and his actual aggressive rabid state not being played comedically.
  • According to Logan, to make the Rabies-infected Bowser Junior puppet, he cut off the mouth of a Patrick puppet and got it onto an Chinese-made unlicensed Bowser Junior plush.
  • It's likely that soap was used to show Junior foaming in the mouth.
  • It's possible that Chef Pee Pee could've died off-screen due to the fact that he got rabies from Junior and that Junior and his friends didn't bother to call for any help to cure Chef Pee Pee.
  • This is the 1st time Brooklyn T Guy uses "Doctor Cop," this happens again in "Jeffy Gets Ran Over!."
  • When Bowser told Bowser Junior if he went outside, he will wash his mouth out with soap. This is a reference to "Bowser Junior's Punishment!".
    • This is ironic because Junior didn't even swear.
      • However, Bowser was probably doing the following:
        • He was probably trying to be a bit easy on him.
        • He was just in a bit of an angry mood.
  • This episode was uploaded one year after "Pokemon Part 4".
  • Junior misinterpreting rabbies as "babies" is a continuation of a running gag from Bowser Junior's Pet!

References[]

  • When Chef Pee Pee asks Brooklyn Guy on what to do, he asks, "You've seen Old Yeller, right?" When he suggests to take him out back and shoot him, referencing the ending to the 1957 movie, Old Yeller, when Old Yeller is attacked by a rabid wolf and gets infected with rabies and the family has no choice but to put him down with Travis being the one to shoot him.

Errors[]

  • On the thumbnail, Bowser Junior's rabid foam is purple, but in the video, it is white.
  • Reptiles can't get rabies because it's exclusive to mammals including humans. This could be because koopas could be a lot different from other reptiles.
  • In "Bowser Loses A Tooth!", Bowser Junior says that he doesn't have any teeth, but however, in this episode, Chef Pee Pee tells Junior that he needs to start brushing his teeth better, meaning that he has teeth. He may have grown teeth overtime.
  • Junior's drawing shows the US dropping a nuke on ISIS, even though the US has never dropped a nuked on ISIS.
  • Rabies cannot be treated or cured once symptoms are present if not taken care of right away despite Junior recovering from a pill later in the episode. The disease is virtually 100% fatal before onset of symptoms. Although there are a handful of survivors.
  • Squirrels are rodents, in which it's almost impossible for them to catch it, and spread it to people or other animals because rodents, lagomorphs, and marsupials are almost never found to have rabies according to the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/rabies/exposure/animals/other.html which also states that carnivorous (foxes, raccoons, cats, skunks, dogs, cougars etc.) and bats are the most likely to be infected with rabies and give people and other animals rabies, in fact, about 90-99% of the time, rabid mammals will be either some type of carnivore or bat-like creature.
