"Cody's Missing!" is the 295th episode of SML Movies.
Synopsis[]
Cody is missing from all Nintendo Games!
Plot[]
Junior and Joseph are playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe racing in GBA Mario Circuit. Cody asks if he can join in but finds out he's not in a game.
Cody, outraged by this, rants and complains that Isabelle and Link are in the game who are not Mario characters, and he also complains that duplicated characters like Metal Mario, Cat Peach and Baby Rosalina are in the game, and he is not outraged by this, he goes home crying.
Cody isn't even in the mood to do sexy things with Ken. Judy comes in and tells Cody he's better than Mario Kart 8 and about her horrible childhood.
Cody comes over and Junior and Joseph are playing Mario Power Tennis, and Cody isn't in it and then Cody asks Junior who is in the game then he says there is flying Joseph [Paratroopa} and Cody gets mad saying it's just him with wings and Junior tells him Shy Guy, Fly Guy and Wiggler are in the game too, then Cody says "Let's play Mario Golf", until Cody realizes he is not in the game and realizes Shadow Mario is in the game which is Junior in disguise, which makes Cody even more mad. Cody makes a game about himself on his phone, but it isn't official as it wasn't actually produced by Nintendo, so it doesn't count. Then, Junior and Joseph find Mario Superstars Baseball, a game where Kamek is playable in, much to Cody's happiness. Junior then tells Cody that he is in the sequel, Mario Super Sluggers. The video ends with Junior telling Nintendo to add Cody in more Nintendo games.

Trivia[]
- This is the final SML video of April 2017 and possibly a 1,900,000 sub special.
- The title "Cody's Missing" was chosen after someone recommended the title to Logan on a live stream on Instagram.
- The Dorkly theme plays on Cody’s phone.
- During the Mario Power Tennis scene, Petey Piranha, was not displayed amongst the roster. whereas the other three unlockable characters (Wiggler, Fly Guy and Paratroopa) were. This shows that Logan has yet to unlock him in the game.
- In a Chilly vlog, Logan can be seen exploring this very page on his laptop, the first time that the wiki has appeared in a video.
- This is the first time people reference that Cody is a Magikoopa.
- This episode was made to address the fact that despite it's iconic status, Kamek is only playable in a small handful of Mario spinoffs.
- While the video says Kamek (Cody) is not playable in Mario Golf, he is actually an unlockable character in Mario Golf: World Tour on the Nintendo 3DS. But the video only mentions Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour on the GameCube.
- Cody is also an unlockable character in Mario Party 9, and different coloured variations of Kamek (including the blue one) are playable in Mario Sports Superstars as side-characters in soccer and baseball.
- Similar to Mario Golf, it is shown Kamek is not playable in Mario Power Tennis, however he would become playable in Mario Tennis Aces, which would become the main plot of Cody Plays Tennis!. In addition, a Kamek Tennis Racket appears as equipment for Miis in Mario Tennis Open.
- Additionally, as well as being playable in Mario Superstar Baseball, Kamek is also playable in Mario Super Sluggers, something addressed by Junior in the video.
- On June 21st, 2023, Kamek has been confirmed to appear as a playable character in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe via Wave 5 of the Booster Course Pass.
- Whilst not mentioned within the video, due it focusing on Kamek not being playable in games, he has featured in several spin-offs in non-playable roles. He serves as a recurring character in the Mario Party series, in addition to being a boss in Mario Party DS, Mario Party 10 and Mario Party Star Rush, a major antagonist within the Mario & Luigi series, and one of the two main antagonists of the Yoshi's Island series.
- It's learned that Judy wanted to be a cheerleader, but was too ugly to be one. So she took drugs and alcohol and later met Cody's birth dad.
- This is the first video to hint at Cody being adopted. This would eventually be confirmed in "The Time Machine!".
- Chilly and Tito were the players who played the games as Junior and Joseph (Koopa) in the GameCube Games.
- This is Logan's favorite video of 2017.
- While Cody isn't playable in Mario Kart Double Dash, in Baby Park, Kamek's Magic Show appears in the background.
- It is true that Cody is not in some games. (Although he was originally going to be in Mario Kart 64, He is found in some pictures of the early prototype version of the game) but was scrapped and replaced by Donkey Kong) The same is true for Mario Kart 8, as an unused emblem for Kamek was found in the game files.
- However, nearly 10 years later, Kamek would make his playable debut in a mainline Mario Kart game, in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Booster Course DLC), after previously being exclusive to the mobile spinoff, Mario Kart Tour.
- This is the first time that Cody cusses with astronomical rage.
- Logan reveals this episode was demonetized.
- Cody refers to Pink Gold Peach as ‘Metal Peach’, which would make sense considering the fact she is metallic and her voice lines are altered like Metal Mario. Him ranting on her could also be a nod to how widely disliked Pink Gold Peach is as a character.
- This video confirms that Junior and Joseph are likely very narcissistic, since they play as themselves instead in every game. This was likely done to show how Cody was the only one of the three not to be in any games that featured the former two.
- Cody refers to Isabelle as the title of the franchise she's from, Animal Crossing.
- Due to its main plot focusing directly on Cody not being in any Nintendo games, this was one of the few videos that were guaranteed to not be remade.
- This video was age restricted possibly prior to the mass swearing.
- This episode reveals that Junior plays Animal Crossing which was confirmed in "Bowser's Change!".
- This episode was uploaded 3 years after "Draw My Life - SuperMarioLogan", and 9 years after "MAIN CHARACTER JUDGING RESULTS!!!".
- Logan revealed in the reaction video, that Cody's rant on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's roster, was done in a single take.
- This possibly contains the most characters in an episode, with 65 characters, with most of them being from the games shown in the video.
References[]
- Logan has stated that Cody saying "just fuck me!", "they just fucked me right in the ass!", is a reference to the South Park episode, HUMANCENTiPAD. The reference in question comes from the scene where Cartman says "Fuck me right here in the Best Buy!" to Liane, when she refused to buy him an iPad .
Errors[]
- Cody mistakes Wiggler to be a worm. Really, Wiggler is actually a caterpillar.
- Cody only ranted about Link, Isabelle, Metal Mario, Pink Gold Peach, Cat Peach, Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy and Baby Rosalina. It's unknown why he didn't mention Tanooki Mario, Dry Bones, the Villagers, or the Inklings, as Cody would have valid reasons to rant on them as well. Tanooki Mario is a copy of Mario, Dry Bones is a skeletal version of Koopa Troopa, The Villagers are also from Animal Crossing, and the Inklings are from Splatoon. They were likely excluded as to not drag on Cody’s rant.
